The Barrack Boy is about a son of a soldier that grew up in the barracks and picked up all characters exhibited by Barrack boys. He was indeed, a trickster. Initially, he was not gifted academically. However with a lot of hard-work and perseverance, he became a brilliant, disciplined and courageous boy that hated cheating. John was almost coerced to join gangs which he fought successfully.

The Forgiving King is all about two good friends: King Ostrich and Chief Tortoise who later became a King too. It is purposely written for children within character age formulation. The book as the title suggests is to make children learn how to have a forgiving spirit. Forgiveness is an act our God loves much. If one can forgive, one will definitely get to the top in life as it can be observed in King Ostrich and his friend, King Tortoise.
